Minecraft Hunger Games

Personally, I recommend five essential servers for all your minecraft needs:
Hive MC for common minigames (hivemc.eu)
HC Gaming Network for the hunger games with included classic types (mc.hcserver.com)
MCPVP for some unusuall minigames (mcpvp.com)
Skydoesminecraft network for some more uncommon minigames (SKGA.me)
And OwnagePVP for a smaller server (ownagePVP.com)

Small tip for PVPing in MC, you should get started with low-scale PVP maps, which tend to be less popular and thus lets you learn the basics of PVP.

Somethings to note though: Dashing (sprinting) into an attack deals more knock back than just swinging the sword. You also shouldn't just swing the sword randomly, as it will decrease the durability of the weapon (if the server has weapon durability, if not then swing away) and it pushes the target back with it's small knock back.

When sprinting, you can block to slow yourself without having to let go of the keys, this works with sprinting jumps, it slows your forward momentum, great for when you find out the other person is leading you into a trap.

When sneaking on a target, block and sneak while in the 3rd person mode, it gives you better perspective for what's in your "blind spots" as people will assume you're playing from the 1st person.

You should also learn the limits of your MC character (like how you can survive a 23 block tall fall on survival without dying (left with half a heart) and how glass can absorb 99% of the damage TNT deals if you're hiding behind it (you lose half a heart)
