I host a server. It's not strictly vanilla, since there are plugins and bukkit, but it's strictly survival with no cheating/spawning items/drop parties allowed. There's an economy element and ways to protect land and chests that require money. We're a very friendly community that has a dedicated Staff team to help you get started.
