I enjoy playing minecraft but I haven't found any good servers that I could join and play. I've got a server but it doesn't work to well, it slows down my internet (drastically) and I don't have any friends to join. What I'm really looking for is a server that's up most of the time and one that has a nice community.
Does anyone own a small vanilla mc server that i could join?

They are a SUPER nice community, always having members to welcome you as soon as you walk in.
It's a nice little tutorial before you go play out in the server. Just a few rules/regulations test, it's easy with common sense. This server, however, does not have a shop, but there's currency, like dollars. It enforces griefing rules, so you're pretty safe when you're making a house. Fire does not spread easily, and you have locks on your chests. Other than that, you can find out the rest for yourself. Have fun!
