How much bandwidth does playing on a minecraft server use?

If you are on windows, right click on the taskbar and go to task manager. The go to the Processes tab and mouse over to the %# Network column. Click to sort it. Then on the list go to the Minecraft process and look at how many Mbps it is using.

For mac use activity monitor and go to the network tab.
