How many Gigabytes of Internet does Minecraft take up?

I have Dish internet and only have 15 GB per month. How many Gigabytes or megabytes would it take per hour of gameplay on a multiplayer server i'm not hosting?

1kb per second would be my guess. Also 15 GB is sad. Get unlimited or 300 GB if you can.

Thanks for the answer Rulep, and i agree. We were told it was the largest amount of data we could get, with further research i found the actual most you can have is 20 GB. They don't offer much but it's all i can get in my area. I don't have a choice lol.
