Computer issues, netgear Wi-Fi adapter?

Lately I have been having extremely irritating issues with my computer. It all started a few days ago when I was playing with one of my nephews on his favorite game "Minecraft". After playing for a while on a hosted server he lagged out and couldn t rejoin, I later found a had the same issue but when I restarted my computer everything went wrong. The bottom of the desktop was pure white not light grey, my Wi-Fi (which is connected by a netgear Wi-Fi adapter) would turn on then turn off and wouldn t list any problems in the troubleshoot. I've reinstalled my netgear adapters disk which installed the program for it. But when I openedmit my screen zoomed in and became extremely discoloured. I'm extremely confused and since I need my computer for I need urgent help. If you could spare your time to help me I would be very grateful.
