What's the easiest way to find a dungeon in minecraft ps3?

I found the best way is to strip mine, I tend to find a few when strip mining for diamonds. Listen out for a lot of noise for one particular mob. But there isn't a real strategy to finding them as they're randomly generated from bedrock all the way up to the surface.

There's no easy way. You just explore, dig, and maybe get lucky. Must maps will have three dungeons withing 1000 blocks of the spawn, but sometimes they are buried under 10 blocks of sand, and there's no way to tell if one is there.
