I'm looking for another game that i can play long-term, like i do/did with minecraft and runescape. Would this be a good game like that?
and how is the game overall? I'm thinking about getting it for either the PS3, or waiting until it comes out on PS4 because i don't have a good enough PC for it.
what do you think? By the way, this is coming from a guy who hasn't played previous final fantasies.
I played the beta versions and it was fun but i wouldn't personally buy it.

I liked it a lot, it has a classic MMO combat style so since you played RuneScape you should be fine with it.
I would recommend you wait for the PS4 version, the PS3 version has problems in high traffic areas, such as when I was in a Behemoth FATE there was that many people I couldn't even see the Behemoth and then got killed by it even though I couldn't see it.
