I can't get split screen on Minecraft PS3? - 1

I have a HDTV 40 inches and HDMI. It says press start to join and then the uers pop up and I click on them and nothing happens.

OK try this!

i) All participants require a PSN account setup on the local PS3.
Next, turn on all required controllers (player 1 & 2 etc)

ii) Player 1 runs MC and loads a world.

Once you Load a world, MC will pick up on additional active controllers and ask Player 2 to press X to join, it will then exit to the Player 2 PSN sign in screen, Player 2 should sign in.

The game will begin in split screen.
