How to play minecraft ps3 edition splitscreen?

I have an HDMI cable but I'm not sure what to plug it into… Also is there any thing else I need to do BESIDES click start when activating the other remote to add it

First you have to plug the HDMI cable to your tv and playstation.( not all tv have a HDMI port) after you have everything plugged in you turn on both controllers the. When you press start there should be a pop up sayin press x to add controller. (need to press x on the second player controller)
