How to meet girls in games?

I think it's cool when you meet someone online that happens to be a girl, the problem is, it's only ever happened to me on CoD back when it was good… So like CoD WaW.

And I've never met a girl on any other game. I don't really play that many PC games, but do many girls play, WoW, Diablo, LoL, Minecraft?

I've got quite a few games on PS3 but the only one I play now is Dark Souls 2, do girls play that?

I mean I see a lot of girls streaming the majority of the games that I've mentioned but not once have I met a girl online.

So do girls play these?

I use to play a game a few years ago that had a good ratio of girls to guys called Maplestory. A lot of the girls in the Maple community play League and I gained a few PSN and Wii buddys from there as well.

Girls are everywhere in the gaming community, but due to alot of abuse thrown at us for playing games like CoD, we tend to keep quiet when online, not everyone insults us but there's always that one guy that will claim that we're just poser 'gamer girls' and then will try and throw every insult under the sun at us, so yeah, some of us keep quiet and just play the game. But if you're nice, you might catch a gimpse of one of us frolicking through the fields of online games who will spark up a conversation with you, RPG's are good places to look, and from what I can tell there are a fair few of us lurking in the servers of Tekken Tag 2, but keep looking man, it's all about the luck of the draw!
