Believe it or not, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO HATCH A DRAGON EGG in all versions of Minecraft. The REAL purpose of the Dragon Egg is for decoration purposes. Like you can make it as your "Trophy" for killing the Ender Dragon or what not.
