Can you play Minecraft PS4 Edition with sattelite internet?

My friend is getting a ps4 and I was wondering if we could play minecraft ps4 together. I have DSL and it would be my world so could he join? He has hughes net gen 4. We could connect sometimes on xbox but it lagged pretty bad.

I've played with satellite internet and Minecraft should work. As long as your friends sattelite speed is fast it should work. Yes he lags but there's nothing he can do to fix it. Just don't try to play Call Of Duty or games like that. Minecraft is simple you're just placing blocks.

As long as he is connected to the internet it will work, the type of internet connection doesn't matter, only thing it will differ is how well he can play it (slow internet = lag)
