Minecraft Pocket version or PC version?

PC, as pocket version is extremely restricted in content. PC version has public servers and a skin editor.

PC version by far, the pocket version is far behind on updates. With the PC version you get mods, plugins, newest content first, custom skins, huge online servers and bigger worlds

A little over a year ago I would not have hesitated before saying pc version, however Mojang has made tons of new improvements to the pocket edition - they added new mobs, blocks, biomes, and were even talking about adding skins.
Of course there are still some limits to the pe version, but overall they are both great.
Personally, I like the pc version better because I can play it on a bigger computer screen, and go on servers etc. BUT it costs around 35 dollars, and the pe version only costs 7 or 8. Either way, you'll have tons of fun!
