How to make Minecraft PE roller coaster go up?

So, that Minecraft PE update came out and I've been playing it for awhile., but I can't figure out how to get the rail to go up. How do I do that?

Basically, build some stairs out of blocks, not the actual stair blocks ( if that makes next just place a powered rail onto each step and they should connect

Get powered rails and put a button next to the minecart on the powered rail and push it.

Put powered rails down instead of Normal rails while going up. You may have to place a red stone torch next to them to power then but I'm not sure
