I bought minecraft for my PC from the minecraft website. I'm using windows vista. I'm currently on the launcher of minecraft. Every time I click play there's a little blue bar that fills up right above it like it is downloading something. This happens every time I press play. I haven't been able to play the game yet because of this.

I have a good pc and get about 60 fps on minecraft. When I record with fraps, however, I get 12 fps. I know this isn't a computer issue because I can record CS GO with 60 fps. Why can't I record minecraft as good as CS GO? Btw I'm running on windows 10.

I live in New Zealand, my ping is 22-28 ms most of the time, my download speed is 10-16 mbps (or about 1-2 Megabytes per second) and I'm not sure about upload, anyway, is 22-28 ms ping good for general gaming? For example, COD, CS: GO, Minecraft, etc.
So, I looked myself up because I just watched a video my school made about our "digital footprint". Most of what I found on Google was some blank websites I made when I was 12 and a couple of YouTube comments on slightly juvenile videos (Minecraft and the like). Do you think colleges will judge me too hard about this? This is a serious question. I don't want my future college to be like, "Nope, this one's a weirdo."

Hi! So i'm a Minecraft nerd yadayadaya
So I played today and fullscreened. As I started punching, my minecraft would randomly close itself, by that I mean it would minimize into my taskbar. It's hard to re-open and when I play Minecraft on a smaller tab, I can see it say "Minecraft not responding". This started today please help me. EASY 10 POINTS!
I recorded Minecraft on my laptop with DXTory. I have the full version. I made a 20 minute video and played it using Windows Media Player.
It began to play for about a minute and then stopped completely and a pop up came up saying "Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file." I tried searching about the problem and I tried the option of "Web Help" which the pop up gave me. Neither gave me any answers on how to fix this.
