Having trouble with full screen games?

I have a brand new dell laptop and whenever i go to play certain full screen games, namely minecraft, don't starve, and magicite, every time i click for a second i can see the desktop or whatever program is open behind the games. Its almost like the games close for a second but open again. I can send it back and have it replaced but that's way to much hassle. If you know anything that can help please tell me

Why does Minecraft install itself everytime I launch the game?

Whenever I Launch Minecraft it comes up with an installing bar. It then installs 3 folders on my desktop being; native log, runtime and game. I don't know why it does this? Please help? My Minecraft launcher doesn't have a shortcut sign on it. Could this be why?

Desktop to withstand frequent game use?

I'm looking for a relatively "cheap" desktop to use for mostly playing league of legends and minecraft on.
Can anyone give me any recommendations on some desktops that aren't necessarily meant for gaming, but can withstand those two games with frequent use?
My preferred price range is $200-$600
I'm not really looking for a gaming computer because those are the only two games i play but if any are in the price range that are dependable than i'd like to here about them.
