I was installing a mod for mc and i tried to find my saves folder in my.minecraft file and it wasn't there
Why don't i have a saves folder in my.minecraft folder?

Make sure you are accessing the file correctly, you need to go to Start and type %appdata% then click on the Roaming folder that appears. There might also be 2 minecraft folders if you have installed previous versions.
