Possible virus thats affecting all my games?

So okay heres the deal. I've only ever bought two games. Minecraft and sims (also don't mind my lack of capitalization/punctuation, its just because i don't care) i've not really played sims yet so i know she's not causing my problem. I've been playing minecraft on the other hand, like alot. I also recently discovered how to download mods and fun things. I looked at a bunch of videos that said this one website, curseforge, was the most trusted website, and i believed it. I downloaded like a million mods from the website and they were all great and ran on my game seamlessly for a long time. One day recently i decided id downloade one or two more. One of them was some hardly-helpful-to-be-mentioned miss that i didn't care much about so i deleted it, but it didn't mess up my game. The other was a very small mod that added a single compass made from simple ingredients with which you could find different kinds of biomes around your world. Ever since i opened my game for the first time after i downloaded that little guy, she's been freaking out like woah. It flashes green and red and white and the graphics will flip and rotate and turn upside down and shift around, ill phase inside of trees and mountains and it renders the game completely unusable, and every time i open it again it gets progressively worse. I've tried deleting every mod, nothing. I've tried deleting my world. Nothing. I've tried deleting and redownloading the game over and over.
