Okay maybe i just can't run shaders, but this is unbelievable. I can put the mod in it, but as soon as i select the specific pack and exit out of the menu, minecraft crashes. No matter what pack i use, it crashes.

It's probably one of the following problems.
1. Your graphics card isn't powerful enough to run it
2. Your power supply isn't powerful enough to power the graphics card
3. Your graphics card driver is out of date
4. Your graphics card driver is a beta release and is glitchy
5. If you're talking about shaders for 1.7.2 which just came out, they're still in beta and are very unstable
6. If you're overclocking your graphics card, the overclock plus the high demand may overload it and close the program.
