Is there a mod for minecraft that makes it so that wolves don't follow you around?

I've had pet wolves in the game many times, but I just get so annoyed by the fact that they follow you around. Plus I'm a total wonky klutz, so I can't tell you the number of times I've accidentally hit my poor wolf while doing other things lol.

I know that you can just command them to sit and they won't follow you, but I was just wondering if anybody knows of a mod in existence that makes it to where your little wolf can still walk around freely, but does NOT follow you?

The Copious Dogs Mod not only adds different dogs and items but it also allows you to make them stay put until you right click on them with a dog collar and leash, so you can make them stay in a building forever.

As far as I'm aware you cat either make him sit or have him follow you.

As if you lock him in your house, he'll eventually TP to you.

If you right click your dog, he will sit down and remain at that position until you right click him again, returning him to follow mode.
