How to increase my FPS in Minecraft with mods?

I play Minecraft with Pixelmon and the GLSL shaders mod, my frames per second are really low and I want to know how to increase them, do NOT mention OptiFine

Get a better computer.

That's the only REAL way to increase FPS.

Either lower your video settings to a less demanding state ( Lower Range, Power Saver Mode, Not using the Fancy Graphics setting ) OR Uninstall GLSL. ALWAYS be aware of what your computer can handle. Don't try to force it, or it won't be enjoyable. Also make sure you aren't running too many other programs or downloading anything.
