I'm looking to buy a new laptop. I was going to buy the Alienware 14 but I noticed that it was only a i5 and it's not full 1080p I don't wanna play a extra couple hundred to get it in 1080p. I was thinking about getting a MackBook Pro. I'm not sure what laptop to get I want it to be able to handle Minecraft with mods and any server. Without much lag. So would you guys prefer a Alienware or a MackBook Pro, or any other laptops you guys would recommend. Thanks! And I know a bunch of you are going to say there both over priced and not that great specs so what Laptop would you recommend?!

Well, it actually depends on what you're going to use it for. If you are going to gaming, go for the Alienware, because it was actually awarded the best gaming laptop on the market, but the battery life is very short.
On the other hand, the Macbook Pro is a very great laptop too. Intel HD graphics probably can run Minecraft at low settings. (And up to 9 hours of battery life) If you're just going to play minecraft and other mid-range games, you might as well get the Macbook with the Nvidia 750m.
Both of these laptops have almost the same specs, but the Alienware is cheaper besides the (obviously) the expensive Macbook.
If you're wanting speed and a fast and responsive system and want to stay off the AC, go with Apple.
If you're wanting to game, and having a budget, go with the Alienware.

Alienware is for gaming and it's a great high performance pc, also it looks great! Macbook ins't very good, it doesn't look as good as the alien either!

Go for alienware 14. It's better for you. I never liked or supported Apple's OS and Softs. Though the hardware is rocking but, still. Alienware will be best for Gaming. Though its not full HD, I think you can let go of this little thing.

Neither, alienwares are overpriced and look stupid, macbooks cost way too much, have no game compatibility, and low specs. Get a lenovo y510p or an Asus, they have much more power and are way cheaper, and look cooler.
