A more difficult Minecraft?

I'm looking for a harder way to play mine craft.

When Ever I start a new world, it seems that within 20-30 minutes I already have everything under my finger. Diamonds, farms, infinite food. I realize I could make larger houses, or more productive farms, but I'm extremely into the survival side of mine craft, and its dissapointing when after the first night, survival is not even apparent. An please don't say "Play hardcore" because its basically no different, other than you avoid death harder.

I'm looking for maybe a mod pack for mine craft where its all about survival. Challenging survival, where you have to work hard to come out alive.

If there isn't anything that comes to mind, maybe you could tell me how to make the mobs in mine craft a lot stronger so I actually have to avoid them. I want them to be ridiculously strong (lots of health).

I will give best answer to whomever can satisfy me.

There's a mod pack on the ATlauncher called Ultra Hard Survival 2 which is really hard.

Ultra Hard Survival (UHS for short) is a modpack that's designed to make the game hard again, to make you scared again like you were when you first played Minecraft. It comes with no natural health regeneration, adds tons of new mobs which can swarm and surprise you, and most of the mods are configured to be more challenging. It's also meant to be played on hardcore, just to give it that extra "oomph".

Google FTB modpack and download the.exe if you have windows or.jar if you have MAC run it and select a modpack once the modpack downloads you will have new things to do. By new things i mean your time you can spend on the game will multiple hundredfold. Watch videos on it otherwise you will be entirely lost. GL have fun.

You want to try TerraFirma Craft. This near total-conversion mod utterly changes the way Minecraft plays without actually changing the game to something completely different.

Also try skyblock map-packs. Agrarian skies is an extremely challenging pack that uses mods, including a brand new questing mod, and leaves you on the traditional 3x3 block of dirt… With absolutely no other way to get resources save the mods themselves.
