Build a generator, put coal in the bottom of it and put the jetpack at the top (Just like your smelting the Jet-Pack in a furnace) There are more effective ways but take a lot of time to do and explain.

You need a power source. Make a generator and fuel it with coal for now. Put the jetpack in and wait for it to charge.
