Minecraft (PC version) is lagging?

I got the demo version of Minecraft to see if it was worth buying the full version.
The game movements are okay, but when turning the camera, instead of having a smooth camera turn, its jumpy - like its freezing for a millisecond every second.

Is there a way to fix it, and would the full version be the same?
(Btw, I had to install the latest Java for the game to work)

It depend where you downloaded minecraft i have the full minecraft offline version for free on the internet and i like it so i guess youll have to think about it.

This Happens To me Too I guess minecraft is just demanding

I don't remember if the demo has these settings or not but I'm pretty sure it did, press "Esc" click "Options" then "Video Settings" and set "Use VSync:" to off and "Performance:" to Max FPS and try that.

You may want to adjust the render distance, smooth lighting and graphics also if the above don't improve your performance enough.

Also turning on Advanced OpenGL can help some people's performance but can also hurt other's (Like mine) so give it a try and see what happens.

Minecraft is one of my all time favorite games as with Mojang releasing new updates and the awesome modding community it never really ends.

If the demo version doesn't have these settings this gives you an idea of all the ways you can improve the full version if you buy it.

I hope I was able to help you out with this post.

Minecraft runs on Java, which is a notorious RAM hog. I play MC, too, and have to turn down the graphic settings in order to keep this visual stuttering to a minimum.
