Minecraft mac lan for 1.7.4 isn't working properly?

Me and my friends, we all use macbooks, want to play a Minecraf LAN-game. We're connected to the Wi-Fi-network, wich has an internet connection.
When one of us opens a lan game, I can't even see it in the multiplayer menu. Firewall is turned off by everyone. It works about like this:
A=me
B=friend 1
C=friend 2

When A opens a game, it is not visible in the multiplayer menu for B and C
When B opens a game, it is not visible in the multiplayer menu for A, but C can connect and play.
When C opens a game, it is not visible in the multiplayer menu for A, but B can connect and play.

The problem is obvius with mac A, as I see it.

Check that everyone is running latest version (versions should all be the same)
Update "A" Java, it may be out of data. Everyone should be running the same version of java as well.

Since "A" can't see others, and others can't see "A"'s game, then A is not connecting to the network with that game in either mode (player or server). Hence the things to check above.

Try "A" wired, see if that makes a difference. There's a remote chance the Wi-Fi on "A" is not playing "nice" with the router…
