Minecraft help. Sticky piston won't work?

I'm trying to make a gate in front of a castle that I'm building but it's not working because only one of my pistons works!

In the front I have about 20 sticky pistons facing up with fences on them (as the gate), but when I hooked up the lever and the redstone only one of them works… How do I fix that? It's really starting to get on my nerves

Added (1). Tyvm but now they won't turn off lol

Try putting repeaters facing the pistons and put redstone but put a repeater on the redstone every once and a while
