Minecraft Account not working?

I've bought minecraft before, so I'm trying to re-download it on a new computer but it's not working. It says to verify my email (which I thought I d already done in the past) and whenever I check my email there's no email from them. I triple checked that spelled everything correctly, checked ALL of my folders (including the spam folder) and there's still nothing. Can someone help?

Added (1). Am I doing something wrong?

Probably not the right email. Also might not be a Mojang account/ may have not transferred over (would be the case if you bought the acc before Mojang accounts were introduced instead of Legacy or whatever it's called.)
I think you can just sign in with your mc username and password after you've downloaded it -- no need for email.
