I've heard of this hate between us Mexicans and central Americans. I'm Mexican American(parents are Mexican) and I've never encountered this in real life, only online. Like I was playing Minecraft(shut up it's fun to create stuff) and there was this Salvadorian kid playing with us, and someone called him Mexican and he was saying stuff like "aw no I'm not Mexican shut up man Mexicans are dirty". It's ironic cause anyone Mexican can know how clean Mexican moms are as if they have OCD or something.
well I live in a pretty white/'Hispanic' area. Most Hispanics here don't even speak Spanish though. They're 2nd and 3rd generation Mexicans and the rest are white people, so unlike the people in the west side of my city, which could be described as 'el barrio' part of town, my neighborhood is just normal I guess, so maybe that's why I've haven't noticed this.
