Left clicking not working well during gaming for some reason. Why?

I just got a new laptop for christmas and everything is great except the fact that when I try to play games, left clicking doesn't work well. I have to click 4-5 times for it to work. But it works normally when browsing menus, or normally doing things on my computer (like browsing the interwebs).

The computer came with Windows 8.1-64 bit. This is really getting my nerves. I've tried Minecraft, DC Universe online, Left 4 dead 2, and A fan game called Sonic GDK.
I just want to left click in peace x(
And suggestions?

My laptop's mouse is quite unresponsive when it comes to gaming, I don't exactly know why, but the best solution is to get a portable wireless mouse, You'll need a portable mouse, just connect it to your laptop via bluetooth and play!

NOTE: I don't think there's any solution rather than buying a portable mouse because it is not the problem of the laptop.

If your using the button on the Laptop itself, there simply not as sensitive as ones fitted to normal Mice.
