Java.exe - Application Error?

Lately i've been getting back into the gist of playing pc games but after opening minecraft, it says

java.exe - Application Error

The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005). Click OK to close the application.

i've done a little bit of digging around and everyone is saying to uninstall certain windows updates, most of them i've already uninstalled but it ceases to work. What can i do?

Uninstall Java completely and then install it again.

That doesn't work at all I have the same problem and I don't know how to fix it all i know to get minecraft working is to download the launcher everytime you wanna play it will open without the error

Actually i found out how to fix it
1. Have your minecraft on your desktop
2. Rename it to Minecraft (2)
3. It works don't know why
