I work on a site called Fiverr where you can do odd jobs for people for five dollars as the starting point. I write prose for a 1000 words a pop on there.
Now there seems to be a trend. A lot of people have asked me to write minecraft fan fiction, at around 4000 words. Paying up to 50 dollars to get it!
Now what I'm wondering is, am I getting money in the wrong places? Is there money that I'm not seeing (because I'm a freelancer) that is being made in the world of minecraft fan fiction?
Remember multiple people have asked me to write it, specifically 1st person diary style for some reason.
So I'm asking anyone out there to help me with this strange little predicament. Thanks for your help!
Added (1). What I'm saying is obviously these people are making a profit since they're paying me. Where are THEY getting the money?
