Is minecraft supposed to be played in creative or survival?

Well, building awesome things in survival will definitely be harder, but it will feel very rewarding. Building awesome things in creative is most definitely easier, but not necessarily as rewarding.

Creative if about building "Masterpieces and using your creationism to built epic things or just fool around. And survival is about surviving, exploring and defeating the Ender Dragon!
