I was wondering if 40mbps is fast enough internet speed for gaming.
I'm playing on pc and play games such as Battlefield 4, Minecraft and COD.
So is 40mbps fast enough to play these games and without any lag.

Lag depends on both bandwidth (which 40Mbps is more than enough) and latency… Latency can make or break lag. Check ping times.

Yes, but your upload rate also matters. You need at least 2mb upload.

Yes, 40 mb/s down is more than enough for any game. Upload speed does factor into it, but if you're at 40 mb/s down, you're probably getting at least 5 mb/s up, which is fine.
