In Minecraft, when you create a house, what material do you usually use?

Diamond block

Cobblestone, wooden stairs, wood planks, wooden doors

I cook cobblestone to make stone so it would look nicer or just use wood planks

Quartz blocks and hardened clay.

It depends. If I'm going for medieval style builds, I will use mainly stone materials like stone, cobblestone, etc with oak wood as decorative pillars. It also depends on the building itself. Like I'm to build a church, I would use bricks, stone bricks and stained glass. If I'm to build a lighthouse, I would use red and white wool for the distinct colors, etc.

So it depends on what theme you want your house to be. For generic builds, use cobblestone if you want easily repair-able but durable / dirt if you're just starting out / obsidian for creeper-proof.
