In Minecraft Beta 1.7, how many light years can you get from spawn?

Remember that 1 meter = 1 block.

Minecraft is 60,000,000 blocks by 60,000,000 (+ and - 30,000,000 on each axis)
which is 6.3420050041e-9 light years from one side to the other… (.00000000063420050041 light years) aka 0.20013845712 light seconds

Considering that "spawn" is randomly set upon the creation of the world & can be reset by resting in a bed… It can't be used as a viable point as it's too variable.

Using the ORIGIN POINT (0, y,0) as a FIXED POINT OF REFERENCE (as all worlds have this point) & utilizing the Java Edition… You can go 30,000 km on the X-axis & Z-axis. If you went to the one of the corners of the world (30,000,000 , y, 30,000,000), you would have traveled ~42,426,406 meters (~42,426.406 km). This figure was obtained by using the Pythagorean Theorem ( = √((30,000,000 ^ 2) + (30,000,000 ^ 2

1 Light Year is defined as the distance of 9,460,730,472,580,800 meters (or 9,460,730,472,580.8 km) in length EXACTLY, according to Wikipedia & the International Astronomical Union

Therefore… ~42,426,406 / 9,460,730,472,580,800 = ~4.4844746526666949657215838252779 x 10^-9 or 0.00000000448 light years. Below is the conversion into smaller "Light Units" of measurements.

~0.000000004484474652666694965721583825… Light years
~0.000001.63795436688651033622980849218… Light days (365.25 days = 1 year)
~0.00003.931090480527624806951540381238… Light hours (24 hrs = 1 day)
~0.00235865428831657488417092422874 light minutes (60 minutes = 1 hour)
~0.14151925729899449305025545372459 light seconds (60 seconds = 1 minute)

Effectively, you can travel no further than ~141 light milliseconds from the origin point to the furthest outreach of a Minecraft world & the absolute maximum distance of ~283 light milliseconds (or ~84,852.813 km) between the two furthest corners of a Minecraft world.

Feel free to double-check my research & figures if you don't believe me… But I'm pretty confident in the math here.
