I'm always really bored, I would like to play some sort of video game other than minecraft?

Try Remember Me and Enslaved: Odyssey to the West. They've been out for a while so the price has come down a lot.

Look around for used games. You might get it cheap! It's recent, but still kinda old. It has a decent story and there's multiple quests to do and other endless activities.

If you like creating in minecraft, I suggest trying out any of the Sims games. The sims 2 is pretty old, so you can get that and make buildings and stuff.

I know your looking for a game with a story line but if you want your boredom to disappear you should try Garry's mod. I was a minecraft-only gamer when i first started too. After Garry's mod i went on to find loads of fun games and it just made the gaming experience a lot better for me. Get Garry's mod and trust me, you won't regret it.

There are a ton of games on the steam summer sale you should check out. Dark souls 2 far cry collection don't starve and a lot more. For free you can get team fortress 2 which is a very popular multiplayer game. Also there are obline comics for it which provide a very interesting back story
