I can't find diamonds in minecraft?

I can't find any diamonds. I'm NOT in-experienced with minecraft i know all about what levels and **** to mine them. On my other world i have almost 2 stacks of diamonds and i'm using the same method. I'm digging to bedrock. Then scaling up and digging between level 10-16 and i can't find ****. I've been looking for basically 2 real life days lmao. WTF is wrong with this map?

No, Mining to bedrock is a terrible idea. Just find some caves look nearby lava, and maybe they will be diamonds. If you're really desperate then you can use an app called pocket inv editor free and edit inventory and add diamond blocks! Well, if you want.

If you mine long tunnels 5-6 blocks above bedrock, you will find lots of ores and the occasional diamond vein. These veins are small though. If you want lots of diamonds, mine around lava.

It's either the diamond isn't there but is in a different area- or there really is no diamond in that map.

If you can change the gameplay to uh I forgot the term, "not survival" then go around and fly / search around everything (I know you've been looking for two days but maybe try to look around using the uh yeah - creative mode) and see if there really is a diamond in that map.

Diamonds are most commonly found on y 5 from what I've heard. Mine lower than you are now.

Press F3 or Fn+F3 and it should say y = 'a number'. Dig until it says y = 5, then dig in a 2 high, straight line. BE READY with a bucket of water since lava appears often. This is the most efficient way to find diamonds since you are mining at the level at which diamonds are most likely to appear at. This is the way i find my diamonds and i hope this helps.
