Which is easier to find Diamonds or Emeralds? I think Diamonds but someone I know says emeralds?

Emeralds are easier to find but I can see the confusion.

Diamonds are commoner, but Diamonds spawn in clumps. Emeralds are rarer, but spawn only in single units. If you're using a logical mining method, you've got more chance of hitting one of those single emeralds before you hit that clump of diamonds.

I'm pretty sure that diamonds are easier to find than emeralds I have loads of diamond cubes but i haven't come across much emeralds.
