I'm in survival mode. I was attempting to make a simple water fountain. As soon as i added water, the entire thing overflowed, now its a HUGE ocean of water in front of my house, all from one bucket of water. I have tried placing blocks in it, but it even flows over that and makes a bigger mess. So. Damn. Frustrating. UGHH.
How do I fix it?
How to dry up the water on minecraft?

You get a bucket and swim to the top if the water thing, and you right click (for Xbox LT) the highest water block. You can also cover that same block with dirt or whatever

If you placed a single bucket of water, you should be able to clear it up by using your now empty bucket to pick up the source block of water (where you originally put it down). You can also destroy the source block by filling it with dirt or some other block.

Easy you got to options
1.Put a block (Any block) on the place you put the water on
2.Use a bucket to grab the water
Rosie
Try the Sponge block!
