I have an ocean monument. I'm in creative mode and want to replace the water with air, if possible without removing all water in the world. Is there a command I can use to do this? The coordinate range is:
x:106 to 165
y:31 to 61
z:-362 to -421
I'm using version 1.8. If you know of a command to use, please provide it with the necessary data already entered, as I tend to get confused as to how to put it in myself.
How to dry an area of ocean in Minecraft?

There's no command. But there may be a mod. I would use buckets, sponges and blocks to take the water away.

There's no command. If you want to, you can get World Edit, grab the dimensions of x, y, and z with the axe (two corners, creating a three-dimensional quadrilateral by left and right-clicking the wooden axe) and typing in //replace water air

There's no command, but version 1.8 should have the sponges that remove a set area(like 5^3) of water source blocks. Since your in creative mod, you have limitless sponge and can remove water for your ocean monument.
There's also the World Edit Mod, which is a quicker way of doing it, but not as much fun.
