How to download 64 bit Java for Minecraft?

Please Help! I have a 64-bit Operating System just like you do. But everytime I try to download Java x64, after the installation, instead of getting Installation successful I get this message: Installation Failed

The wizard was interrupted before Java 7 Update 60 (64-bit) could be completely installed. To complete installation at another time, please run the setup again.

I keep trying to download it again and again, I restart my computer and everything and I keep getting that message. Please help me, I don't know what to do and I really need to fix something for my Minecraft, x32 isn't working out right now.

did you try checking with the java website to see if you already have the latest version installed?

So, I had the same problem you did. After a few hours of stressing over it, I ended up stumbling across the Java SE Development Kit 8. It takes up more space, but it installs and worked great and I was finally able to give more Java space to Minecraft so it would run properly.

You want to follow the link and in the box that reads 'Java SE Development Kit 8u5' accept the license agreement and then download the Windows x64 EXE. Let it install and then it should work.
