How to decorate a day bed?

I'm going to get a daybed sometime. I'm thinking on ways to decorate it. I was thinking finding sheets that match the pillows.
Then i was thinking about getting videogame dolls to put on it (like the creeper from minecraft, the turret and the conpanion cube from portal etc)
How would you decorate one?

doesn't matter what type or colour as long as they please you. Or make your friends throw up.
