How many layers of cobblestone can resist the blast of a charged creeper in minecraft?

I believe it is around 2-4 depending on what happens, it's sort of a case by case

4-5 for a charged creeper. I'd recommend building this wall/whatever you're building out of obsidian though, if you need it to be blast resistant.
