My friend is having trouble with registering a minecraft playername because every single name he can think of is taken. He has even tried names such as 'asopiaspooaspa' and 'sahjioasip' and the checker still thinks they are taken despite them being bizarre names that no one in their right mind would choose. Any ideas on what he can do to successfully register a minecraft username?

Try a name with a lot of numbers. Like Minecraft75989840934 or something like that. Make sure he remembers the name though (Write it down), he may have to enter it later.

Well when i was trying to make a name i had same problem so i wanted "McLightning" but was take so i did "XMcLightningX" and that worked choose one you like and try add stuff to it like i did

Yeah, try adding numbers or symbols to it. Customize it a bit, it will work if you put symbols or numbers only you recognize.
