I have had this PC for a while. A few months ago, it started crashing whenever I play games, even Minecraft. Before, it never crashed. I used GPU-z to check the temperature. The fans were running at 96%, the GPU was at 99% usage, but the temp. Got up to 104 degrees Celsius after running the game for a couple minutes. At this heat, it crashes. What is happening?
GPU overheats and crashes computer?

Your computer is overheating.
You should never let it get past 85C, any higher and you run a high risk of frying something. I'm actually surprised you didn't damage something at 104C

Right, but why is it overheating that much now? I doubt it used to get that hot. And I just started using GPU-z, so I never knew it was so hot.

Check your cooling system. Heat sink. Maybe the internal fans from the GPU went out or have some type of obstruction. Maybe the air flow on the case is being obstructed too.
