Getting a New laptop, will it work for gaming?

Hey guy I needed a new laptop fast (I have a youtube channel to run and not much money atm) so i'm going by rent a center to pick up a new alienware 14. Specs:
4th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-4210M processor 2.6 ghz (3MB Cache, up to 3.2GHz) Dual Core
8GB DDR3L at 1600MHz (2 x 4G)
NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M with 2GB GDDR5

I know its not great but I was wondering if itd be able to play like… Skyrim on medium-high settings on 30 fps or better or like… I dunno i intend to play amnesia, 7 days to die, minecraft, WoW, black ops 2 and I wanna be able to at least play them on medium settings if not high.

It isn't fantastic I know, but I can't afford to buy one outright and thanks to my moms cell phone and lack of bill paying my credit is **** so I can't do anything that involves a good or even decent credit score.

The GT 750M is a pretty nice mobile graphics card, and it'd play Minecraft on high, Amnesia on max, and Black Ops 2/WaW on medium settings.

I think it'd be a good Laptop for your YouTube channel, and with a nice i5, you'll be able to render your videos really quick!

Desktops are always a better option when it comes to gaming. But if a laptop is a must then this is a pretty decent one.

Yes but you will have to scale back your games, running at a constant fps means turning down FX settings so your min frames per second is closer to the 30 you seek giving you a constant solid frame rate, you won't be running games max settings but low to medium is still more versatile and graphically impressive experience than all 7th gen console games and on par with next gen system for a period of time.

It should at least run the games you listed, not sure if you'll be able to get good fps on high settings though. Check the games system recommendations.
