DirectX12 - will DricectX 12 affect minecraft?

Like we know minecraft use java, and i'm curious if Directx 12 will increase minecraft's fps. My laptop can only reach 22 fps.

I don't think Minecraft uses DirectX very much at all I think it uses openGL way more.

If Minecraft used DirectX, then DX12 would potentially have an effect on Minecraft.
