Cheap and reliable desktop or laptop?

I'm looking for a computer that has at least 8 gigs of ram and can run my elgato and play simple games like minecraft and handle video streaming. Here's the catch, I'm looking for one that is in a cheap price like around $500 and at most $600
Any suggestions?

Oh lord, for that much you won't have a problem. Pretty much any desktop you purchase at that price will do fine. I think you could take $100-$200 off and still do fine. Pretty much any computer on the market can handle 8 gigs of RAM. You can either purchase it that way or purchase a 2nd 4 gig module to go with the 4 already in there. A laptop could probably do that, it definitely could if it had a 4th gen i5 and a discrete graphics card. You should be able to find one with an 3rd or 4th gen i5 for that price.

First of all your budget make it larger. 600 bucks will get you a cheap laptop but with intel i3 4gb ddr3 integrated graphics. When you budget is bigger go to cyberpowerpc.com they specialize in gaming pcs and laptops.
